Nicio minune la TAS! Instanța de la Lausanne a menținut decizia Comisiei de Apel, astfel că Poli Timișoara va evolua, din toamnă, în liga secundă. Aceeași decizie s-a luat și în cazul Gloriei Bistrița și a lui FC Bihor.

Tribunalul de la Lausanne n-a menținut-o pe Poli în Liga 1. Declarațiile pesimiste ale conducerii de după audieri s-au adeverit astăzi, când forul de la Lausanne a hotărât menținerea deciziei Comisiei de Apel, acea de retragere a licenței celor trei cluburi în cauză.

Lausanne, 18 July 2011 - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rendered its decisions in the following four cases concerning Romanian football clubs and their licences for the 2011/2012 season for the First League of the Romanian Championship and for UEFA competitions:

Fotbal Club Timisoara SA v. UEFA
Fotbal Club Timisoara SA v. Romanian Football Federation
CS FC Bihor Oradea v. Romanian Football Federation & Romanian Professional Football League
"Club Fotbal Gloria 22" Bistrita v. Romanian Football Federation & Romanian Professional Football League

The four appeals have been dismissed and the challenged decisions taken by the competent authorities in Romania and by UEFA have been confirmed in their entirety.

The Romanian clubs filed their appeals on 14 and 22 June 2001 and all parties agreed to have the arbitrations handled in an expedited manner; the appeals were referred to the same Panel of CAS arbitrators and a procedural timetable was established with the agreement of the parties which allowed the exchange of written submissions to be completed by 11 July 2011, with hearings held at the CAS headquarters on 13 and 14 July 2011.

As a result of their appeals being dismissed, the three clubs do not have a license to compete in the First League of the Romanian Championship for the 2011/2012 season and FC Timisoara SA does not have a license to take part in the UEFA competitions this season.

The CAS Panel will issue the full awards, with the grounds for their decisions, in a few weeks.
